The Importance of Contouring and Highlighting

 1.Before applying foundation or powder, use a dark shade to contour the cheek bones, the bottom of the chin and the outer ends of the forehead.2. Use a light shade to highlight above the cheek bones, the outer parts of the nose, the middle of the nose and the upper part of it and the middle of the forehead. Sometimes you can highlight the part above the upper lip.3. Now blend all of these lines to avoid looking silly and even scary.4. Apply foundation (but not too much, so that there is an effect from the contouring and highlighting), blusher. You may attempt a dark smoky eye for a more dramatic look.
